By Train
Train to Avignon TGV:
Avignon is well-connected by high-speed trains (TGV) from major cities in France, including Paris.
The trip can take as little as 2 hours and 40 minutes from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon TGV station.
From Avignon TGV station you can rent a car, pre-book a transfer, take local transportation, such as buses or taxis, to the Alpilles.
By Car
From Marseille:
If you're driving from Marseille, take the A7 highway towards Avignon.
From there, you can follow signs to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, a central town in the Alpilles.
From Avignon:
If you're arriving in Avignon by train or plane, you can take the A7 highway south towards Marseille.
Exit at Cavaillon and follow signs to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
From Arles:
If you're arriving in Arles, take the D17 road west towards Fontvieille
and then connect to the D33 road to reach Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
By Bus
